Thomas Moore in Peterborough NH, February 11

On Saturday 11 February 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Toadstool Bookshop in Peterborough NH hosts Andrew Krivak in conversation with Thomas Moore to discuss Krivak's new novel The Signal Flame, his sequel to The Sojourn.
"Both books trace the generations of a Slovakian immigrant family beginning with Josef Vinich a sharpshooter in the Kaiser’s WW 1 army. The second novel, set in 1972 in the mountains of rural Pennsylvania, opens with the death of Josef as his daughter and grandson Bo confront uncertainty when the other grandson, Sam, is reported MIA in Vietnam.
Andrew Krivak
In a previous book, The Long Retreat: In Search Of A Religious Life, Krivak chronicled his eight years of Jesuit training in a spiritual quest. Thomas Moore is the bestselling author of Care of the Soul and many others. He spent 12 years as a Catholic monk. Both have returned to the secular world in different ways."
